I took one when I was like 9 years old, and the site basically did not show me my iq after doing the test . I never took any other ones at all so you are saying something that never happened.

It's absolutely useless, I'm above average but my life is shit. High IQ ≠ hard work and motivation. High IQ ≠ luck. It's only good if you can make a profit out of it like being an engineer (should be easier if you're smart).

High IQ alone doesn't guarantee success. Personality traits(like high conscientiousness associated with hard work) also matter. But even then, in order to make it really big, you have to get very lucky. That's just a fact.
Effort alone will take you to a better place, but it won't get you all the way.
Sheer dumb luck is what differentiates a guy making 500k/year from a guy making 50million/year.
