The US is only using expeditionary forces and 2 strike groups at the moment. Two months ago They had 3 CSGs in theater with no conventional ground forces.


Compared to Desert Storm, when they had like 8 CSGs/Battle Groups, 1 million troops and multiple Air Force Ground Based Squadrons.
