Is 1 week enough to fake knowledge for a coding assessment

Have a decent amount of knowledge... I have 2 assessments lined up for Feburary 7th, They are recorded by they aren't live (with a hiring manager). I want to spend 100 hours of slaving studying away to meet the prerequisites

Is this possible or am I fucked. I can build simple stuff already

I don't wanna dox myself but its for 2 big tech companys 1 social media 1 gaming

if its a swe based interview probably not, they take like months to get right and even if you score a 100% its sometimes not enough

if this doesn't precede an interview then the test was given to all applicants to filter out people who don't take it and accept the ones who did well + have a good resume. If you had interviews before the oa then you should have a higher chance

I did too i just focused on internships, if you specialize in ml or cloud you don't gotta do live coding tests, but you gotta be super well versed in your specialization

i think hes doing the first test before interviews, if its amazon it shouldn't be too bad but if its anything else hes kinda done for, salesforce gives oas to everyone

yah, it's all complicated chit. When I'm done with this autism spectrum chit, i'll prolly head back to school and get that comp sci degree again. Hopefully I won't have to do any of these weird coding tests.

i mean if you want to earn alot you probably need to leetcode or if not specialize, i landed amazon swe without doing leetcode but i got super lucky cause my hm was a swe and a (PM,SA,TPM,) and he just let me have both offers. Nowadays its like impossible it was only during peak hiring like covid

It's not advanced enough at all to replace it. Just like any technological invention it is going to harm people at the lowest skilled areas but it still sucks. Learning basic python and projects isn't going to be enough anymore but still, It cannot do basic debugging
