I’m like 150 pounds and a month ago I could only do 75 for 15 reps.
My trainer says that my progress in strength and size is the quickest he’s ever observed

cool story bro

75 or 175? 175 is pretty respectable even on a machine. 75 is... well, you know.

You had the muscle to begin with. Nobody gains that much contractile muscle tissue that quickly. Your nervous system had to be taught how to use that muscle. High-rep sets are very effective at teaching motor unit patterns.

Yeah it’s very good. Although I’d say ur starting point was prob higher because adding 100lb seems unreal with no significant change in bodyweight

lol

you are a newbie, so it is normal

also not to be offensive, drag your enthusiasm down or sth but it really does not make it special THAT much for machine movements,as it is easier to progress there.

if it was a regular barbell or dumbbell incline bench i'd say different.

keep going though

Any dumbbell bench is going to have about 20% lower weight than the barbell equivalent.

To be honest it’s more like two months

Machines are cope because they're not universal plus the range of motion is fixed and you don't have to use stabilization muscles to maintain the balance.
