my calories burnt when sedentary is 1952 (according to that calculator shit)

at the bare minimum i do:
i do 20k steps per day

usually i also gym 4-5times a week, weightlifting

i also play tennis roughly an hour (been doing an hour a day the past week), but don’t take into consideration since not consistent with it.




also:
the 2k if from high quality sources only, beef, eggs, meats etc etc

2k is really at the bare minimum for calories a man should be getting a day but even that I'd consider as borderline starvation.

What's your stats? If you're this active and are only eating 2k calories a day you should be losing quite a bit of weight.

if your highly active it’s hard to stay at 1200.
mate i was training boxing 4x a week on a empty stomach eating just omad and was fucking peeled maybe because im 5'7 and was 53-51 kg, 56 kg and im fat and bloated

is 20k a highly active individual then? i do 20k on a daily basis, i started the leanmax 2 days go.
i keep that as a minimum cos some days i won’t play tennis or go gym and just get steps in, but still want to lose fat during those days

it’s not even as weight loss goal, WEIGHT loss isn’t even necessary the goal, just fat loss. i’m a gym newbie, only been training a few months so training in a deficit isn’t a problem for me

yeah, but tennis isn’t too consistent, i’ve been consistent the past week but only since i’m back home, later on i won’t be playing much/at all but still want to continue fat loss. i go uni, so basically sit.

im 100% consistent with the steps, and gym but there’s obviously rest days, which i still want to lose fat on. (i still do the 20k on the rest days)

so eben if i just do 20k steps in a day. 2200 cals is what i should be at?

im at a good range now just water weight due to me getting stabbed 4th October jfl sedentary lifestyle while i recover was dieting for 100 days so im good ill be back in shape in a month rn just eating once a day bulking is cope

Yes kcal per week is your concern not kcal per day. If you lets say burn 1000 kcal one day and the other you do nothing and you burn 10. Its the same as burning 505 kcals 2 days yknow. You dont magically get fat on rest days

Yes kcal per week is your concern not kcal per day. If you lets say burn 1000 kcal one day and the other you do nothing and you burn 10. Its the same as burning 505 kcals 2 days yknow. You dont magically get fat on rest days
so i should do 2200x7 =15,400 and thats my weekly calorie. and each day i subtract from that. and on the 7th day is should be close enough to 0?

does weight even effect your maintenance that much? like the difference the calc says for a 58kg and 68kg individual is only a diff of 50-70cals

Btw last thing i dont know the study used, but i saw TNF (great source of info for starters) cite a study that people who consumed more kcals but also significantly more protein still lost more fat than those that ate less kcal!

Youre probably burning off 1k extra which puts you in a 1k deficit. Now thats a significant, but reasonable if you get tons of protein.

ive seen some of tnf stuff. since i go high fat and protein and low carb i get a tons of protein in diet from lean beef. that’s good to hear!

Burning off 1k seems excessive im currently 191 81 kg and according to apple i vurned 574 kcal after 17 k steps
