This might be a stretch but at 21 with a full-time job, can you still do a lot of fun shit with women and friends?

I very much so wasted 12-21 and honestly just feel like giving up. I feel like I didn’t experience the joys of youth like I should have, it has been weighing down on me a lot.

I was very much so capable of picking up women when I was lean (would need to lose 5kg or so) and I have a lot of natural charisma.

I feel like there is a lot that I’ll never get to experience. I don’t feel ready to fully embrace adulthood and pretend like I’m not just some socially underdeveloped kid deep down. Obviously I am an adult, I’m instead referring to social experiences.

I just need to get lean, I’m dead average right now. I think that being naturally charismatic helps quite a bit.

Lmao I’m probably about 20% body fat right now.

I’ve tried many times to leanmax and have just failed repeatedly. I’m honestly thinking of hopping back on those ADHD stimulant meds for the appetite suppression effect.

man you just gotta lock in once in your life to stay lean. If you need to take stims to lean max then go ahead if it helps it helps.

No trust me man I do know what it means to actually leanmax successfully (I’ve been lean at 3-4 separate points in the past few years), it’s just that I’ve struggled with binge eating for a while.

I gotta find a way to make life enjoyable enough that binging loses its appeal.

I think at the end of the day you just gotta realize that no food is gonna taste as good as being lean feels.

like personally i grew up pretty fat and had a bad relationship with food, but i would never go back to being enlarged, no food what make me do that.

you just gotta like work on your relationship with food, i dont really know what to tell you lmao

You absolutely can but you sort of have to accept arrested development
If you decide to do what your 21yo peers are doing you’ll never get those experiences back that they had
Shit like starting college late, going out even if you’re “too old too party”, dating younger women, marrying later etc. You can claw back missed developmental years by just delaying adulthood but if you go straight to where you “should” be at 21 without doing so then you’ll have missed out on them forever

In my experience, a lot of it also comes down to your overall attitude towards life and past experiences.

That’s not to say that effort is outside of your control, just that you need to find values that are genuinely meaningful for you.

It can be frustrating when you feel desperate for validation but simultaneously feel disconnected from the pursuit of a goal itself, you know that you want to achieve it but feel emotionally detached from the WHY.

That’s honestly what I’ve experienced after years of unsuccessful attempts at attracting women (not necessarily due to being unattractive, just highly insecure). I often find myself more focussed on all of the lost time rather than the women themselves.

Anyway, that’s my philosophical take.

What do you mean by what you “should” be doing at 21?

From my understanding, you’re referring to the need to prove to the world that you have become a mature adult. Is that right?

Maybe it helps that I look very young for my age. I’m 21 but look about 17 based on my face (it’d help to get lean too).

What do you think is a good way to approach this? What if I went on a trip to Europe or smthn, I tried out these “bar crawl” events with all these European backpackers a few months ago and it was extremely fun.

Depends on what you’re doing in life, but its generally the age where people are graduating university or have finished career training and are starting their proper “careers”, lean more towards longer term relationships and such, more of a focus on money and building a life

In a sense yes

Definitely helps

A good start especially if you enjoyed it before. If you want a fresh start at anything you’ll want a change of scenery. Move cities or countries, travel, go to college etc. You’d want to start somewhere new if you want a new life

How absurd is it that I’m needing to have someone explain societal expectations to me on a looksmax forum lol

Do you genuinely believe that socially, missing out on the carefree fun most people usually have in their youth can have a lasting effect? Very few parties, close relationships, etc…
