It's a disadvantage and not advantageous at the same time.

5'9 isn't tall meaning you're probably going to come across men that are significantly taller than you frequently which will obviously mess with your ego, women might not wanna be with you (not alot though), but at the same time you're technically not short.
The only advantage though however is you fit in most places perfectly unlike really tall people that never have enough space
