Is 5kg bulk enough to gain muscle?

I weigh 74kg in the morning after I do a poo and I want to bulk up to 79 and then cut back down to 74kg. Is this a good strategy to build muscle?
I don't want to look too much like a bloated pig.

I'm 73 and also planning to go to 79.
I don't see another option, cutting to get below 73 is taking way too much time/effort.
Probably worth gaining some muscle, I believe it increases your TDEE and makes it easier to lose weight the next time you cut.

Yeah I tried to cut to 70 but it’s just not a good idea where I am currently. I already noticed my lifts going down at 74. I need to bulk now to make any progress.
