2 inches probably isn't worth it at your height, 1 inch is fine.

the 1 inch from the shoes doesn't matter because everyone man around you wears 1-inch shoes too. The real height gain comes from lifts or if you're wearing shoes with an unusual height increase compared to most men's shoes, like the AFs. 1-inch lifts are very easy to wear and hide so you can just wear whatever shoes you want and add lifts to them.

for only 1 inch I don't think elevator shoes are necessary tbh, just buy the Mendez lifts and add them in whatever you want

It is an excellent height for men, imo ideal. Anything between 6'1 to 6'5 is very good male height's , excluding maybe netherlands and few other countries where 6'3-6'6 will be more appreciated, but like rest of the world yes it's an amazing height.
