Yeah that's fine. You shouldn't go past 420mg elemental magnesium per day

I've been taking this for the past 6 months and it made a big improvement to my sleep and gym recovery. Now I can't live without it.#

I take this brand, it's good quality:

The dosage on the bottle is elemental btw, so it's got 120mg elemental in each capsule

The one I posted has 120mg elemental per capsule, I only take 1 per day. For me, 120mg is enough to make a difference, and I take 1 before bed. If your diet is good, you should be getting enough magnesium anyway.

Nah I don't take it with zinc, I did try it once and I literally couldn't sleep all night, had crazy sweats and dehydration. Now I take them a few hours apart.

Yeah the brand shouldn't really matter tbh - I normally try to stick with brands based in America/Europe, just for the safety side of things, I don't normally trust unknown brands from Asia. But that's probably just being paranoid

vit d3 8000iu since i live in the uk
zinc picolinate 22mg
mag 158mg elemental
i also include omega 3 since i don’t eat salmon daily and the other vitamins are fat soluble i think, so the fish oil helps absorb it.

can i ask why u don’t supplement vitamin k? i don’t either since i read it speeds up hair loss or something due to calcification or something. not too sure.

I remember reading that in order for K2 to be absorbed you'd need very high amounts of Vit D and Calcium to go alongside, it so it didn't seem worth it. But I guess I'll look into it again, I kinda forgot about it till you mentioned it now.

well we are pretty deficient in it ngl with 0 sun. each pill is 4000iu, and high dose like 8000iu is usually what i see recommended here, tho probably not too wise to listen to everyone here, since half of them are retards. How much are you taking?

probably hard to get high doses of calcium in diet, unless u have a diet high in dairy, since supplementing calcium is dangerous. my diet mainly consists of eggs, meat (mainly beef) and fruit. little cheese but not a lot at all. if you make protein sakes or some shit u could put egg shell in it, since it’s pure calcium, but i don’t use protein shakes and i ain’t eating no egg shells on their own.


But I guess I'll look into it again, I kinda forgot about it till you mentioned it now.

i need to increase my dairy intake tbh, it’s too low. i eat 7 - 8 eggs a day jfl. and beef 15-20% fat daily. along with fruit. will add more milk and more cheese tbh.

Yoghurt is a no brainer, has protein, calcium and all kinds of probiotics. Blend it with fruit

yeah i’d do, i eat most meats, but most commonly it’s beef. i do eat fish, maybe once a week tho, which isn’t enough which is why i use omega 3 supp.

will start to incorporate yogurt.

His post basically says if you're prone to male pattern baldness, k2 could inhibit a particular hormone which promotes hair growth, and that would make it worse. However he didn't give any proper sources for his info, just 2 random websites which didn't corroborate any of his claims.

I'm not prone to MBP so I guess I shouldn't worry too much anyway. How about you?

yeah he doesnt show many sources but the replies to that thread do show that some people are getting that effect, so im not sure it's worth the risk.

i am prone, basically everyone on my dads side is bald jfl, and everyone on my mums side is not bald at all and show 0 recession.

not sure if i should take it.

For me it's the same, my dad's side has MBP, but not my mum's side. I'm in my late 20s and I haven't noticed any balding yet so I think I'll be good, thankfully.

Depends if you're desperate for bone growth. If your bones are so bad you can risk balding a bit to improve them, then go for it.

i do take minox orally, so that may negate any effects, tho im sceptical of how much bone growth supplementing vit k would actually give, if any at all.

Tbh Vit D, Calcium and Magnesium already essential for bones and you're taking them already. Also you can consume natural sources of Vit K from food, google says Cheese, Kefir, Eggs, Chicken, Beef, Salmon all have K2.

yeah i’ll supplement it tbh. i’ve used it before i didn’t notice anything. just the thread threw me off. u be using mk4 or mk7, how much u gonna take?

did some research on the vid d and dropped my dose to 4000iu since that’s what i’ve seen people use and basically all have good blood results from it in the ideal range.

i think 1200mg calcium is also what’s optimal tho im not sure.

I probably won't take K2 supplement, my stomach cant handle too many supplements in a day. I'll just try get it from natural sources.
Yeah 8000iu was way too high.
