You dont need to but I think no bio at all looks a little strange. considering some people will write paragraghs for it. A chadfish with no bio will look like a catfish account. When I used tinder I just put my height and a silly sentence on my bio and got some matches.

Writing paragraphs is cope for obvisous reasons.
