Yes, I'm doing a BS in CS and have an internship this summer where I'll be making ~$25k.
The job market is very nice if you can LeetCode well and there's plenty of WFH opportunities. If you're average IQ and willing to put in effort there's no better field in terms of effort to reward.
Also don't do it online, you'll pay more money and it'll be harder to transfer.
Do community college until 60 credits and get good grades then apply to transfer to somewhere with a good CS program like University of Washington. If you tell me your state I might be able to give more personalized advice.
