Is a CBCT scan while in centric position reliable?

When I show a jaw surgeon a CBCT scan of me with my jaw in the centric position are they able to use that and properly plan using it?

Yes but some CBCTs are low quality resolution it just depends on the scan

ok, my scan place doesn't have that issue. i was just wondering because i took my scan and accidentally jutted too far so my condyles were out of place so my surgeon told me to get another one with my jaw in the centric position instead this time.
