Is a "maturing" hairline real or am i just balding at 16.

Family has no history of balding,however i dont want to cope until i end up norwoord 3
Its brutal that it may have started already, as my puberty was quite late. Getting on finasteride / dut would be unfortunate to start now as i should hopefully have a good portion of puberty left. Should i start now or wait for puberty to complete.
It seems to be the option i must take as hair is life.

I notice that there is possible extra hairs coming out in the shower, probably about 20-30+ but this possible hairline reccesion is not noticeable at all to others.
This amount of short hairs at the hairline were not here 4+ months ago,

Nobody in my family is bald, or even has a bad hairline for thier age. Will it still receed even on finasteride / dut?

Yes it’s real. A lot of guys that have a full head of hair in middle age don’t have a picture perfect little boy hairline, but still aren’t norwooding.

Experienced this personally. Growing up I was fat as shit with high estrogen. Had a perfect hairline until age 15-16 when I lost 100lbs, started working out, eating right, taking my vitamins, etcetera. Temples receded just a bit and I freaked out like you thinking I was balding. 3 years later my hairline is the exact same

Not saying you are or aren’t balding, I have no way to know. I wouldn’t freak out too much though. Just keep an eye on it

visit a doctor then, i would do the same if i lost 2 cm of hairline in 4 months.

I'll keep an eye on them, but it's kinda like what the other guy said about the temples moving back a bit after losing some weight and taking health serious. so could just be me having less estrogen or whatever hormone shit.
