Is a modelling industry really so dark? (sad movie)

Let say someone is young, tall chad and want to be a model. Does he need to do such a dreadful thing to be on top of fashion industry? This is sad that many people are dreaming to be high fashion model...

To get to the top levels of designer fashion houses yeah. Majority of models barely make more money than middle lower end jobs, and thus, dont need to do anything to get anywhere, or even have the chance, altho im sure it does happen time to time.
