im 17 and I want to get an Ortho given palatal expander once I head to college bc my mom hates anything I do to improve my looks, the only chance I have is to get it once I'm out of here but Im unsure if its still worth it by then

ur sutures will probably close by then , u will need a marpe and then braces most likely . its worth it if u get invisalign instead of braces , theyre more expensive and less effective but also less noticeable and less of a turn off compared to braces
