Legit can’t cope anymore with sarms. I want to get a palatial expander with braces to slightly widen my jaw and help with my chin projection. Anyone know if this can work?

hmm at 18, your bones are mostly mature but there is still some growth potential in your jaw including the palate. Palatal expanders are typically most effective around 12-16 tho as they take advantage of the sutures in the roof of the mouth that are still flexible. However, adults can still benefit from palatal expanders to some extent, though the process may take longer and may not achieve the same level of expansion as in younger pppl

Everyone is different though like in some cases, a more complex treatment plan might be recommended like possibly combining the expander with braces and other interventions like jaw surgery for optimal results so just talk ot your orthodontist

I respect the honesty and transparency. I’ll try to get talk to my orthodontist about some procedures I can do that’s not too invasive

I know that but at what age is it the least effective?
Its more optimal when you are young since your face develops with your expanded maxilla not the other way around, its going to be less useful after your bones are already developed which can be different for most.

my ortho said yesterday that most people can get it done without surgery until 30

I had a palate expander at 8 years old but why don't you ask your orthodontists instead of schizophrenic maniacs?
