Is a pc a good roi? Thoughts?

Just got my check a couple of weeks ago and have been pondering on the idea of purchasing a semi high end pc.

So, after getting this pc, im thinking I pick up a skill or two online and invest my full time and effort into learning and utilizing that skill and hopefully gaining profits and scaling it up through time...

Its personally a big jump and a Big risk though cuz purchasing a pc eats roughly about 40%/50% of my salary, and that's really significant for me.

Thoughts??
