Is training abs and core gonna make my abs more defined and shit or is it just cope

Yes your abs will look better but for some people training their core just makes the waist wider (and for some it gets tighter)

its not cope, your abs are like any other muscle training them will have a positive impact on their definition etc. however you gotta be lean enough regardless
