Yes I ve seen that a lot.even a dude I know irl who is not a looksmaxxer told me that he felt suicidal and lost a lot of hair.

No, literally every teenager with medium to severe acne eventually uses it as some point.
You'll get dry skin and feel a bit more tired, that's about it for 99% of people.

Don't remember exactly but I used it twice cause my acne came back (not completely though).
Max dose was 60mg/day (you probably don't need that much).

Man 60 mg/day is kinda a lot I was thinking of doing 10/20 max per day.

I probably did two 6-month long cures, but I'm not sure.
It will definitely stop acne while you're on it, very effective.
Some of it may come back when you stop using it but most of it will be gone.
And yeah 60mg was overkill.

sensitivity to the sun and giga dry lips are the only main side effects ime and ive been on it for a while i can send some improvement pics of my skin later

got it in captules, called Iso-tretinoin as the brand name, im taking 2 pills a day rn but was starting off with 1 every 2 days for the first 6 weeks, then 1 a day for about 2 months now onto 2 a day, ill work out the exact dosage tho

as for suicidal thoughts, none but i was already depressed (not suicidal) before going on accutane, no unusual joint or back pain, i check my hairline and thickness to see thinning of my hair a lot and there's no noticeable thinning or norwooding, i just need to use accutane a little longer to get rid of my bacne before i start microdosing tret and moving my way up again

yeah my skin has improved well, its worth it tbh


here are two pics, my acne was only affecting my lower third so i've only posted my lower third, one pic from about 6/7 months ago one from about 1 month ago (there is no actual acne next to my lip even tho it looks like it, its just blistering as a side effect from the medication, soz about picture quality but my skin has improved a lot)

I'm on it for 2 months now, 30 mg daily. It's fine tbh just moisturize your lips/face/elbows and that's it. I think i might need eye drops too.
I wish I wasn't a bitch about it earlier and didn't spend 5 years like a subhuman.

That's pretty much the only thing I regret about accutane.
If only my retarded parents took me to a dermatologist when I was 16.
