If they're too fucking dumb to realize their book is not only unproven and full of contradictions but easily disproven, then they are far too dumb to learn enough biology, science, chemistry, and statistics, to read and interpret scientific studies, and analyze data and real world experiences objectively without bias, to be able to make any worthwhile contributions to looks maxing.

But here's some quick ones I have validated. Revelations says "the time is near", which was a letter written to the seven churches. Guess what, it's two thousand years later, and none of those churches it was written too even exist anymore. The time was not "near".

Look up all the versus on Prayer, and read the verses pertaining to when "god" will give you what you asked for in prayer. Because all those verses contradict each other and that's one of the most basic aspects of Christianity.

No offense, I grew up Christian too but you need to learn to use your brain, critically examine what you're being told, otherwise you'll make poor choices in life and wind up in poor situations.

From this logic you'd have to explain how God itself came about and then you'd be stuck in an infinite loop. Why is an explosion that happened out of nowhere and brought the universe into existence any less likely than an invisible almighty being being the reason behind it? You're trying to apply concepts of life as we know it today (there needs to be a designer for things) to something as complex as the universe which dates as far back as 13 billion years. You can't apply a manmade logic to it and then just decide it was a superior entity that created it all just because it's too complex to understand. Science used to not have answers for a lot of stuff, now they do. It is constantly evolving. It could well one day find a definite conclusive answer to this as well. I don't need to believe in an invisible imaginary benevolent being just because it hasn't yet been fully explained.
