It's the time when you realize your dreams will never happen and at best you'll lead a normal wagie-life.

Seriously, just enjoy your adolesence more, being an adult is absolute garbage. it only seems like the best thing ever in a teenagers wild dreamings. As a teen you think that somehow, some way, you're gonna end up as a badass kungfu master, roaming the backstreets of some rural towns in china, beating up mobs who are targeting you for some reason, entrenched in a grand adventure. Or that someday you're gonna get scouted as a supermodel or end up in a boyband, these scenarios seem possible in your teenage years, which is why it's so much fun to be young, to be able to dream.
Each year as you pass 20 yo it starts sinking in more and more that that extraordinary thing is never gonna happen, by 25 even the most airheaded dreamer will have their dreams shattered.

It's not all that bleak if you're a teen though, because that youthful sort of naivety is very powerful and can allow you to work earnestly towards a goal exactly because you think it's possible, so it could act as a springboard to "make it" in life. That being said you'd still need a modicum of talent on top of it all.

I of adolescence find it sad not being able to have certain experiences that are made in adolescence
