Is alcohol good for skin?

Since I've been off school I've started drinking a lot more alcohol & my skins been looking a lot better. A lot of sources say that alcohol is bad for skin but I'm thinking it's probably anti-drug propaganda. I googled some stuff on alcohol and it dilates the blood vessels, increases heart rate, and increases breathing which basically sounds like it increases oxygen & could possibly long term even increase collagen.

Alcohol inhibits a hormone called ADH (anti diuretic hormone). ADH is responsible for holding onto water, thus if it is inhibited, it results in you urinating a lot more, due to your body's inability to hold onto water. This leads to less water being present in your skin, resulting in damage being done to your skin barrier, causing premature aging. Alcohol is a major looks min, best efforts to look youthful should be to avoid being in a dehydrated state, and staying hydrated (at least 2L or more of water consumption a day).
