Is an ipl device worth?

Hate shaving and my skin always gets irritated one way or another, switched to a foil shaver and that still irritates me a bit. So is an ipl worth it?

Ive started getting dermatitis trapped in my skin from years of shaving etc , the best option is to completely nuke it if ur not gonna have a beard anytime soon.
