Is anyone cold or distant from their family

These past few weeks I have been cold and brief with my parents over the phone. Part of me doesn’t want to be associated with them but I still feel bad when these thoughts come up.

I have thought the same at times ngl. It’s pretty selfish though. It almost feels instinctive.
