I am diagnosed with unemployment

Yes, I didn't talk until I was 4 and was fine motor delayed as well. But I feel like I've long outgrown most of the symptoms. I now consider myself neurodivergent and developmentally delayed, not necessarily autistic.

Sounds very similar to me honestly, I'm very high functioning at worst and were diagnosed with Asperger's at 7. However, I also have a very large baseball sized arachnoid cyst in my left temporal lobe which my neurologist and neurosurgeon believes could've been during the time of diagnosis and still could be causing autism like symptoms rather than me actually being autistic.

Damn, hope you get that fixed. But your case would be interesting to doctors to see the exact brain mechanisms of “autistic” behaviors. And this is why I prefer the neurodivergent label. Autism is too narrow and other things, physical and developmental, can mimic it. In my case it’s been childhood megacephaly, severe digestive problems, and extremely neurotic and isolating parents. But as soon as I fixed my diet and got away from my parents I made so much progress. So I don’t like a label as fixed as autism.

I had a CT scan done for a miscellaneous reason which inadvertently led to it being discovered when I was 12. After consultations with two neurosurgeons who both deemed it as asymptomatic I'm now having annual MRI scans done to monitor its size due to the risk of increased pressure exerted on my left eyes optic nerve possibly causing damage to it as well as general symptoms which may necessitate surgery.
