Is anyone NT but holds back due to trust issues?

Giga NT blood runs deep in my veins. I remember when I came to this forum and had roommates they all got addicted to spending time with me. Why? because I was a GIGA cool chill bro to have fun with, but also I had other facets when needed accordingly. I never had to fake anything, my authentic persona was all I shown. And to this day, all of them simp for my friendship.

But it got me to trust them first. After dealing with so many beasts and witnessing horror I am full of walls around me. I view nearly everyone as a potential person who might turn against me any time and show their "real self" - and it's logically truth, but I feel like successful people find a different ground where to stay. I may be doing a disservice to myself because, as a user here pointed out, I might be filtering out the bad, but I am also filtering out the good. Evidently, my walls don't really get me anywhere.

What advice would someone give to this OG cel?

yeah, i feel the same way. i met a really pretty girl at my workplace who flirts with me a lot but because of my experiences i tend to shut her down a lot because i just don't trust her.

i don't trust women to let go of my inhibitions at all. it's frustrating to be like that.

you seem like the type of guy who really needs to get to know a girl before you make any sort of move. that's the only solution. if your the type of person who takes intimacy seriously it is important that you find other women who feel the same way. there are a lot of girls just flirting casually with no seriousness behind it. time with them is the only thing that will give you your answer.
