PSL stands for puahate,sluthate,lookism but I guess ur referring to the PSL rating system which is usually broken down into 4 aspects harmony 35%~
angularity 25%~
Dimorphism 20%~
Miscellaneous 20%~

There are pretty good formulas for each of these segments out there like these:

There are better more detailed ones out there but as u can see hair is important for ur dimorphism and miscellaneous score so hair does influence ur psl I think these sayings like PSL>APPEAL just comes from tiktokcels who have no idea what their talking about
