The idea that beauty is relative is seen as a convenient social illusion, created to soften a reality considered harsh and hierarchical. From this perspective, human attraction is not primarily guided by personality, effort, or emotional context, but by objective physical characteristics, largely determined by genetics.
According to the black pill, although cultures may vary slightly in preferences, there is a universal biological core of what is considered attractive: facial symmetry, specific proportions, clear sexual dimorphism, and signs of good genetics. These factors would be evaluated quickly and unconsciously, causing most people to be instantly classified on a scale of aesthetic value. In this way, beauty would not be truly relative, but statistically predictable.
The notion of the relativity of beauty, from this perspective, emerges more as an exception than a rule. Individual cases of attraction outside the norm are seen as deviations caused by specific circumstances, scarcity of options, or temporary emotional factors, and not as proof that everyone has equal chances. For the black pill, the environment may even influence perception, but it does not significantly alter someone's actual position in the aesthetic hierarchy. Thus, the black pill conclusion is that beauty functions as a rigid system of stratification, where a few consistently benefit and the majority must deal with limitations imposed from birth. The idea that "beauty is relative" would, in this context, be a comforting discourse that ignores the power of biology and statistics in the dynamics of human attraction.
