i have a feeling that when you associate yourself with certain "radical" ideologies like the blackpill, it becomes almost a prerequisite to be a right-winger since the left is associated with feminism or things that, in simple terms, are making your life shittier.

however, afaik, being a leftist doesn't necessarily imply you are a progressist. you could also be a socialist and be against modern feminism... the soviets for example surely wouldn't like the modern left lol

what you touched on classic liberals and the current meaning of liberalism is something I've always found confusing when I was first learning english. liberals are usually associated with neoliberalism or classic liberalism where I live so it made no sense for me to call a leftist a liberal because it was a complete contradiction of what i understood as liberal

Being on the left can arguable be an incel trait. Left is all about equality and helping the dispossessed, which incels are.
