I‘ve always felt disappointed in myself for not having sex like my friends. I see them getting new girls left and right while I stand mext to them like an autistic fuck. But lately after some thinking I don‘t think being involuntarily celibate is as bad as some make it out to be. I used to wish that I‘ll have my first kiss at some point and it killed me inside that I never had my first kiss, but now I make out with a new girl every weekend and it didn‘t change anything AT ALL. I‘m not any different in any way. My life didn‘t get any new meaning. It‘s just a cope for not being able to find love.

So why can‘t this be the same case with sex? Did someone feel the same but has experienced sex? Did having sex change anything?

That's not about it nigga

sex is pretty "meaningless," just a quick gratification for accomplishing basically nothing

relationships are different though, at least from my experience. there you find fulfillment, direction, meaning, or whatever you want to call that

Yeah real ascension is finding your genuine soulmate. Even Chris Chan found this finnish lady.

I‘ll never find anyone that I genuinely love. I would get in a relationship if that meant that I can have sex, but I don‘t think I‘ll ever love anyone

I wish I could genuinely love someone and feel this fulfillment and meaning but ig I didn‘t have the luck to genuinely love anyone

I love a girl who called the police on me. But there was a time she was genuinely affectionate and more than just "nice". :feelswhy:

that‘s brutal. I guess that would be a positive side effect of not being able to feel love. Being basically chained to someone. I hope everything works out for you

elaborate
Never having sex in life is just a sign that you can't get women. Having sex with women is just for enjoyment during dating, sex without love is meaningless.

you‘re using your own personal values as facts. and „sex without love is meaningless“ is subjective. what makes your definition the correct one?

Re-read my reply. Being an incel means you can't find a partner, not being unable to have sex. You're still an incel, since you can't find a partner but just have sex. Also, what i said isn't subjective, name me one Personal meaning for sex other than feeling good

If someone is voluntarily having sex, how are they involuntarily celibate? That contradicts the definition of incel. Also, what you said IS subjective since claims about meaning are by definition subjective because meaning depends on human interpretation. Lastly, you‘re shifting the goalpost from having sex to relationships. Which one are you arguing?

Incel by definition is having a Relationship.

Sure you had sex with a woman
But didn't state you emotionally like her (which is what a relationship is mainly built by)

2. Meaning on something is a philosophical term, a term that is described as consciousness outside of nature

And Sex, has no philosophical purpose.
Scientifically and objectively, sex is for reproduction to carry our human survival.

Sex gives us hormones, which is to feel good during sex to continue reproducing.

Feeling good has No philosophical meaning
It's just hormones

Therefore Sex serves a great purpose to nature
But doesn't serve a meaning to a universal level/absolute existence level

Love however serves a Meaning because
It's the connection of two people creating an attachment of any sort (meaning you genuinely love them for who they are)
Which already passes as a human made concept, something that isn't directly from nature but rather the social consciousness and morals built by humans
That are shaped by culture and history rather than nature.

mirin

for some reason it doesn’t seem like many people are striving for ltrs with their partners and instead they put partying and slaying as a primary goal which isn’t ever going to fill the void of loneliness. the people subtly crave a loving partner.

Brother what are you saying? „incel by definition is having a relationship“ is simply just wrong. Even if you meant „incel by definition is not having a relationship“ it‘s a terrible definition because that means that someone that could be in a relationship but chooses not to be is an incel, which obviously is not the case. Also, I never had sex. I‘m a virgin. My post was about how I think losing your virginity doesn‘t change you as a person because my first kiss didn‘t change me as a person so being involuntarily celibate isn‘t as bad as people make it out to be.

Second of all, You’re using a very narrow, non-standard definition of meaning. If you require ‘universal, absolute meaning,’ then love doesn’t have that either. If human interpretation creates meaning, then sex can have meaning the same way love does. You can’t allow subjectivity for one and deny it for the other. Lastly, reducing something to biology doesn’t remove meaning. By that logic, love is just hormones too, so it wouldn’t have meaning either.

„mirin“ while responding to an illogical confused comment. But I think I didn‘t express myself in a clear manner (i was very drunk and tired yesterday when I made this post). I am still a virgin. My post was basically a hypothesis, that having sex won‘t change you as a person therefore you shouldn‘t make it your life goal or shouldn‘t be sad about not having it and I tried to use the example of me starting to make out with girls and it not changing me as a person to compare it to having sex and it probably not changing you as a person either. I hope this clears some thinks up

getting bullied does not follow from being an incel. I don‘t get bullied yet I am involuntarily celibate

retarded women also bully men on socia media making fun of depressed men

Yes I meant "Not", thank you. I forgot to add Involuntary. Incel by definition is Involuntarily not having a Relationship. A person who chooses not have a relationship is a Volcel/Voluntary Celibate.

2. I'm referring to Metaphysical Realism. You can believe in Nhilism or Existentialism or whatever, but love is by existentialist standards having Meaning are Authenticity, Radical Responsibility and Commitment, and Genuine desire for a deeper purpose.
Sex however does not meet any of those standards.

3. Now to clarify, in my first post that you responded, i meant saying that "Sex is Meaningless" in exactly this way I'm referring

Whether you define incel as lack of sex or lack of a relationship doesn’t really change my point. My experience so far is that physical milestones don’t fix anything internally, kissing didn’t, so I’m questioning why sex would. If anything, it seems like the real issue is lack of connection, not just lack of sex.

No
Incels don’t really exist tho
Being celibate is law

Why is it law? And did you just try to refute my point/ hypothesis with „no“? what the fork
I answered your question
No, celibacy is not bad
It’s ideal, for serenity and vitality

Celibacy might work for some goals, but calling it ‘ideal’ ignores the trade-offs. It completely rules out intimacy and having children, so it depends on what you actually value.

Listen bro. Being an incel is the largest and worse form of cope. Your accepting defeat without even being done with the war? Is it pussy you want? Or is it love? I’m not going to get into love but if it’s just pussy it’s every where. My body count is high and I’ve never layed once. You have to learn how to attract a female. If you’re a incel that doesn’t shower or brush your teeth EVER then you shouldn’t be suprised. If you can’t think of any words to say to a woman then how do you know if you can even get one? Stop coping and chase ascension.

A relationship is literally an emotional connection. You're exactly still an incel, and to not be an incel you'd have to have an emotional connection/relationship. Youre point is a lack of connection, right?

Sonion did you read the post? I make out with atleast 2 new girls every week. I‘m an incel because hooking up is not usual at my age. I didn‘t give up lol I search for an oportunity every week and I‘m sure it will happen this or next month

You’re just relabeling what I said. If the issue is lack of emotional connection, then that supports my point that sex alone doesn’t fix anything. That’s exactly why I’m questioning why people treat sex like it changes you.
