It's in fact probably more common then you think, since such events are not limited to psychopaths. While a wide range of people do it, best example is people with OCD. Such images for anyone with OCD are quite common. Yet in no way is their a moral failing on their part of any kind. They don't even like the imagery, it's simply an impulse they cannot control.

Therefor as an axiom for any morality, immoral acts must be within what we would view as control of the induvial. Obviously philosophically this becomes problematic, since some would argue that their is no control, or even worse that only time their is true freedom is under force or deurse. While I do not subscribe to such ideas they do exist. Putting aside such esoteric whimsy.

Morality is largely needed/derived of group needs, including the need for group members to have induvial freedom just not at any cost. After all even discussing morality required more then 2 people. There can be no true objective atheistic morality. For whatever reason humans seem to require some kind of religious structure or everything breaks down into nihilism. Nihilism is abhorrent and most nihilist after engaging in some hedonism, become somewhat suicidal/totally lost, nihilism rots everything about human experience. On that basis alone you could construct an proposition on why homosexuality is immoral.
