How many promiscuous women existed 50 years ago? If it is determined be genes then the same % of the population would exist. Even if it is determined by genes and they were hiding their promiscuity then that is still good.

What the answer is trying to say​

The reply you showed (“Attractive dad = whre dad = attractive son = whre son”) is basically making this argument:

1. If the father is attractive,
2. he will get a lot of sexual attention,
3. so he ends up being promiscuous,
4. and because attractiveness is partially heritable,
5. the son may also be attractive,
6. and therefore he may also get a lot of attention and behave similarly.

So the chain is:
Attractive → more opportunities → more sexual partners (promiscuity) → child inherits attractiveness → child also has more opportunities → similar behavior.


It’s oversimplified, but that’s the logic the commenter is using.
