Is being ugly a bigger failo than being good looking is a halo?

I was working today and was walking past a billboard of a model who was promoting a hat. She had proper dental facial growth, good high set Zygos, good mandibular and maxillary forward grow, good colouring etc. She was the definition of the word conventionally attractive.

I however didn’t feel anything looking at the pic. Now on the other hand if I saw a conventionally unattractive guy I deffo would’ve felt something. This makes me come to the conclusion that being ugly is a bigger life failo than being good looking is a halo.

No, because there are other variables that can come into play and countervail bad looks. With good looks though you literally can't lose, it's the most mesmerizing trait, it allows you to pull off just about any character and persona.

If you’re objectively attractive (I’m not talking model tier, I’m talking like HTN level) there will be a few people that view you as unattractive, if you’re objectively ugly very very few people will find you attractive

This is because we’re so exposed to good looking people that it’s in a sense very common in our minds, back in the old days if u saw someone that was above average or good looking u would be like wow that’s amazing and rare, now when u someone like that ur like meh I’ve seen way better, u might mire for a split second if they r exceptional but that’s about it, on the other hand seeing an extremely ugly person is very rare but ur not exposed to seeing such and thus have the same reaction but the inverse thinking wow that’s rare and ugly.

Exposure may be one thing but people don’t find comfort in attractive people same way they find discomfort in ugly people. Good looking people don’t give average people positive emotions in the same way as we get negative emotions from ugly people imo

I think it’s vice versa. If you are ugly as a woman you have the average male experience in terms of dating. If you are super attractive you get flown out, parties on yachts, millions on onlyfans. Rugby/football/NBA players DM’ing you etc.

As a super attractive man you might model (you’ll still earn less than your female counterparts), but most women will just find you neutral/leaning positive to look at and won’t do anything about their attraction towards you.
