SARPE they install expander then you get surgery where they cut your jaw apart just like Lefort, but they don't move it at all. then it's expanded with the expander after the surgery. then you get your bimax and they again cut your shit apart and move it forward.

with segmental Lefort they just cut it apart and expanded it by hand during the bimax.

i think you get a bit more expansion with SARPE but there's more relapse. that's based on this study:
