depends wheter you have overbite class 2 , underbite class 3 , normal bite class 1 , short ( recessed ) mandible , steep angle mandible , low bone mass mandible , narrow mandible , low height mandible ( SFS ) , recessed chin , narrow chin , short chin height, recessed lower maxilla , downgrown lower maxilla

if LTN you're more likely to have these failos and good blackpilled surgeon can ascend you hard to at least strong MTN level

It can lengthen the jaw, and make it minimally wider, if thats what you need ot can do some. Otherwise no, it doesnt add mass apart from in the cut where the lengthening happens
