Is blepharoplasty lasting forever or just 1-2 years?

I have red that the results of some patients go back after some years. Taban places an implant under the eye to support the result. So without the implant the result wont last, right? Beside that the skin will be sagging if you get older, i cant really imagine how the result gets bad over time. Like they are stitching the lids
