Is blocking DHT at 18 a good idea?

I’m 18 and I blasted steroids starting at 17 yrs old, dealt with pretty bad collagen loss and aging from the gear, luckily zero balding though. I’ve been on 150mg trt for the past month or two and skin has been improving a lot, wondering if I should hop on dutasteride to improve my collegen and prevent any sort of balding I might face in the future

unless u have balding in ur genetics I wouldn't recommend it personally. But it's ur choice of course

What would be the downsides though? I’m past the point in my life where dht is needed whatsoever for development and all of that, all its doing now is giving me acne, aging my skin and potentially making me bald in the future

Well, there can always be side effects and health issues taking stuff. You usually want to take the least amount of stuff as possible. But you can try it if you want and if the benefits are really good with only minimal side effects then sure by all means, it's good

yeah dutasteride will block dht and help with collagen loss but it can cause some side effects like impotence tbh, so you'll have to weigh the pros and cons at your age

I can alr grow a full beard, facial hair is utterly repulsive especially on me, if it slows down the rate my facial hair grows thats a looksmax bc i have to shave so often
