i see it as niche appeal, some girls really hate it, some LOVE it more than brunettes. brunette probably more ideal for wide appeal but blonde is amazing for niche appeal, and its not even that niche, lot of girls like it. types and preferences have a big impact. i personally dont like women with blonde hair and always go for brunettes
