Is blood work essential before 250 mg test?

Seen a lot online saying bloodwork is essential and seen others say it’s not necessary for such a small dose, any help appreciated

With bloodwork, you'll know exactly how much it is but without you kind of of have to guess and hope for the best, either low dose ed or take an ai only when you feel the physical symptoms of high e2
