Is bloodwork necessary for AIs?

I have unique symptoms of high Estrogen, is a conservative dose of 6.25mg EOD of Aromasin and simply waiting for my symptoms to disappear, before down-titrating then hopping off, enough? Or should I do a sensitive E2 assay before I start?

Nothing else. I get AIs are emergency but it's clear to me I'm aromatising an excessive amount and have high estradiol.
