It's 90% cope, people do often see themselves as less attractive than they really are but body dysmorphia is just acknowledging flaws, it doesn't make you hallucinate new ones jfl

Yeah im traumatized from seeing myself in pictures before i ascended (all i did was lose weight tbh) but even now i just cant look at myself

the reasoning for this (i think) is cause we’re constantly comparing ourselves to top 5% faces

Eh my body dysmorphia is hella real with my recessed face and acne scars. I’m uglier than most people outside by a good margin.
