I think the idea of not being able to see how you truly look is weird. Do you think people really see distorted images of themselves?

I'd say it's more about lightning and angles than a real distortion in the mind. Like today I saw myself and thought I looked quite better, but I obviously know it was because of the lightning of the place. On purpose I tried different lightnings and I could see how my lack of bones are more evident

Yes, you can start to think so obsessive about your looks that you don’t even know if you look good or not.
For example you analyze your self in every picture and see all the small flaws appearing in a different pictures wondering how you really look
