atleast you have grappling sometimes in boxing all you do is punch each other no wonder the most amount of brain damage and head trauma is nearly double in boxing as in mma.

Just join a mma gym that makes you pay a monthly fee for unlimited access to every class. That way you get good at stand up and ground game.

go to a gym that offers multiple martial arts and preferably start with boxing, after you got the basics you can start kickboxing and then move up to mma to ultimate fighter maxx

mma > anything on street fights

boxing is the most dangerous martial art to practice, headgear won't save you from CTE. Pick up BJJ if you care about safety. Judo is a bit more dangerous to practice because of the throws

In a self-defense street fight scenario, boxing is one of the best martial arts. Just look at how this boxer deescalates a potential deadly situation at the snap of a finger because he trained hard to be precise and time his shots effectively
