I always thought of visiting as a tourist

But I think by the time I save up enough money for a trip, the average Brit will be nothing like Mary Poppins or James Bond.

Might just be chilling with Abdul & Aisha over there.
Or running into Rakesh & Pooja.

its a decent place to visit.
I went to London a couple years ago so I’ll talk about that
There’s nothing that special to it. Of course it’s historically significant but I wouldn’t say it’s a particularly unique or great experience.

Some places have a cool atmosphere, if you’re into sightseeing there are a lot of places you can go obviously. You can look up what’s there but nothing seems as appealing as something like Rome, but I’m not much of a sightseeing guy anyway
I like classical music so the best part of my experience was the London philharmonic.

As an American it was cool to see some of the architecture just passing by.

Don’t you live in Singapore? Imo nothing there is worth that long a flight

Though, Edinburgh is a train ride from London, and a nice place to visit. Great atmosphere. I enjoyed it. Maybe Scotland in general is better and London isn’t the best, but I dunno, didn’t go around much.

As for the ethnic issue, it was the worst in the airport. So many fucking Indians, niggers, and sand niggers oh my god. Indians the most and god was their behavior just cringe. I see Indians sometimes in American airports too but they are usually westernized or rich and don’t act that weird. Every Indian in Heathrow acted like they were still in India, many wearing their traditional garb, and there were just so many. It definitely wasn’t nice seeing them. Arabs and pakis are constantly trying to steal stuff too.

Surprisingly I didn’t see many ethnics outside of the airport. They mostly just worked in stores. I was in the tourist or rich areas though, so I mostly saw other Europeans.

There are nice, actually british towns and villages which feel far more traditional and authentic than London. Not hard to find online

Ayo thanks for replying & I appreciate the effort in that long response

If I do make the trip, I will try to see more than just London

I'm from Singapore but I have never ventured outside Asia so any European or American stuff will be a new experience

OK will keep that in mind

Heard countryside is nice

The UK is hell and not worth visiting outside of maybe London for a few days.
