I really don’t wanna get fat again but I lost a lot of muscle starving myself I look malnourished

Do I need to have a chubby face to become strong?
 
men in nature never force themself to become fat junkies
 
ur not going to gain muscle/weight unless ur in a surplus. how much of that is muscle or fat depends on what ur consuming

Nah, you can just do body recomp by eating around your maintenance calories but make most of your intake be 35-50% protein and you can fill rest of it with carbs for workouts so you have energy for weight lifting. Hope this helps bhai!

I did the same

Last year did bulking and got great gains but also became fat

This year I leanmaxed and lost all muscles


Best to try is lean bulking and then after several months, small caloric deficit

Pretty much, i think beginners might be an exception tho but even for them it’s best to bulk in the first few years of lifting to max newbie gains

ignore those cringe tikkytokmers that say bulking is vaulted

you need to be in a slow surplus over time. progressive overload every session or there’s zero reason to be in a bulk unless you’re making the most of all that extra energy so make sure you push yourself and do legs or you’ll gain more fat
 
U can recomp if ur on roids mane but natty recomp aint gon be worth it its gon be slow as fuck
