Yes. Normal threads just sort of die like 20 minutes after there last reply because they get buried. But bumping it brings it to the top of the list again and gives it new life

Nah because sometimes you make a really high effort thread but the mods don't put it into best of the best because they think its gay so you have to keep tagging a bunch of ppl and bumping it in order to get reacts
