How am I supposed to do Calculus 1 when I failed out of Algebra and got a 1100/1600 on the SAT

if you werent drunk or otherwise far away from your potential, it means you're certainly not a genius. And you're also certainly not retarded. So don't go into research in some highly quantitative field like theoretical physics and you will be completely fine.

If you score like that in online test then you aren't very bright, and your best bet is a memorizing heavy career, like meds.
I don't know what you study in your calc 1, maybe you study numbers, complex numbers and then some algebra and matrices, which would be the easy calculus, university calculus is hard.
