Like how much worse for you is candy and sweets than like bread or oatmeal or something?

@Never Get Up If you are eating enough mass to remain at homeostasis without the loss or gain of body mass, why should the Randal Cycle be relevant if your body is going to use all the carbohydrates and fats anyways for achieving homeostasis?

That’s false. When you mix carbohydrates and fats, there is a cross inhibition created.

If there is more fat than carbohydrates, the carbohydrates get locked out of the cell and pushed into your blood stream. Sugar is extremely toxic to your cells. Homeostasis occurs when you only consume fat as your energy source to remain at baseline blood glucose levels.

Anytime you consume carbohydrates, you are spiking your blood glucose levels thus damaging your entire body. Basically you’re killing yourself by every bite via carbohydrate.
