Is CCW Jaw Surgery my only option?

For some context, I had braces for 3 years to correct an overbite, I got them taken off around 2 years ago and even though I improved quite a lot I feel like I’m still not where I’d want it to be.

I’m 19 and lucky for me my parents have agreed to finance any procedure I decide to get, including the counter clockwise jaw surgery.

My question is; is surgery my only option? Should I look into other, less invasive methods beforehand? Or is anything else just cope?

This is literally all I need to show, the exact line of my upper lip to my lower lip, it shows the maxilla is recessed and it makes it clear that it’s a mild recession (from the distance you can see by the very obvious line I drew), either give advice or don’t

yea, just wanted to ccw the first half of the mandible, and the portion of maxilla that is cut, the picture u showed says nothing, only the steimer line
